Cuban-born couple’s odyssey leads them to BalletMet

His path to American citizenship began in the Florida airport bathroom 13 years ago. As instructed, he excused himself there to meet his uncle from Miami, who would briskly usher him outside to a waiting van and to freedom — as long as he wasn’t caught. “I thought, Oh, my God; oh, my God; oh, my God,’ ” Estevez recalled. “But they were so tired, all the dancers, nobody noticed.
