Adam Vesperman, a talented student at Allegro Performing Arts Academy in Kent WA, recently earned a very high honor.  Adam competed in the West Coast Dance Explosion Elite dancer program this summer in Las Vegas.  He was against many other talented 9-11 year old boys and was awarded the National Champion title, ‘Junior Male Dancer of the Year!

Adam’s score, which won him the title, was compiled of a ballet audition, a jazz audition and his solo performance.  His solo, ‘Dancing Shoes’, is an impressive display of his acrobatic and lyrical abilities choreographed by Tiffany Miles-Brooks.

Adam trains in ballet, tap, lyrical, jazz, hip hop as well has stretch and strength classes for injury prevention.  He is a member of the Allegro Precision Dance Company which is an elite group of dancers that train, rehearse, perform and compete year round.

Adam was not the only dancer from Allegro that competed in the Elite dancer program.  Other Allegro students earned 3rd place JR female champion, 4th place Teen male champion, 6th place Mini female champion.

Adam’s hip hop group, PURE Boyz, also won a fabulous 3rd place overall in the teen division.  This particular hip hop piece is made up of five boys: Adam Vesperman, Drew Clark, Connor Gormley, Adam Agostino and Jared McAboy.

Adam is a hard worker and all of his teachers and peers at Allegro Performing Arts Academy are extremely proud of him.  While in Las Vegas, he also auditioned for the production of ‘Billy Elliott’ and recently was informed of a call back/2nd audition in New York City!

He has a bright future ahead of him and Allegro is excited to watch him grow as a dancer and a young man.
