This summer, Kirova Ballet is proud to announce that 12 year old Ludwig of Rosenborg, son of the Danish Countess Camilla of Rosenborg and descendant of Christian X, King of Denmark and King of Iceland, is attending the Kirova Ballet Summer Intensive Program.
This talented dancer has improved a lot with the ballet classes and is enjoying playing classic roles on the variation class. The modern and traditional character dances classes have given Ludwig the opportunity to discover new emotions and movements. Ludwig integrated into the group smoothly and enhanced the cultural mosaic of the Kirova Ballet Summer Intensive Program, where teachers and students come from more than 10 different nationalities.
Ludwig is one of the best students at the Royal Danish Ballet, where he has been training for 5 years. Ludwig grew as a part of the Royal family in Denmark up with the famous Danish ballet traditions. Danish national TV is producing a documentary about Ludwig and his family which is to be broadcasted in autumn of 2012. The TV crew is shooting the primary scenes with Ludwig for the TV programs at the Kirova Ballet in Miami.
